Artist's Comments

one of my favorite artist's here on d.a. is :iconmonkeygogo: he has an amazing style and say's so much with just a few lines. his male characters are sexy and provacative yet classy and imaginative. i was really taken with his latest piece where he too his main character kentaro and made him a hero, here's the link to the piece ->[link]
i did my own version of his awesome character here using my own style. i learned quite a few cool coloring techniques by looking at his art and tried to use his less is more style(a challenge for me seeing as i tend to always fill my works with loads of details), as aways :iconmonkeygogo: is a huge inspiration to me. i hope he likes this work as all of you.

I would say to start with basic human anatomy. Draw this guy's skeleton and see if it looks natural, even within the confines of the comic book style. Then draw some muscles over that, and so on. I think you'll come out with a much nicer end result.
My opinion is that it would also look better without all the airbrushing. If not absent altogether, at least applied less liberally.
Hope this helps.

THAT'S WHAT I CALL "PAINTED-ON BRITCHES." BUT GOOD JOB, DUDE. I LIKE THE BLUE FIRE IN THE HANDS.

i'll try to take your comments with a grain of salt even though this could translate to my not having any knowledge of anatomy or coloring skills. but i'll try to wallk away with some positive thoughts and study harder thanks for really taking time too look at this and tell me what you thought.
